My grouse is this: I work everyday, literally. I have 5 Gold stars next to my name, a few adoring words from fans of my shows, been favourated nearly 400 times, and I charge a rate that makes the site quite a nice chunk of change off of my ass (or tits, mouth, cunt, whatevs). There is never a time when all the models in the BBW section are online. The most I’ve seen is 55 at once. So even if I’m on the last row, once I’m online, shouldn’t I be frontpaged? I’ve heard of accounts being suspended for selling items, on-cam drug use and displaying excretory bodily functions in Free Chat. This is in direct violation of what I understand the Code of Conduct to embody. Yet the anti - full body nudity rule is not enforced…it’s rewarded.
I’m not going to reduce my Per-Minute rate. What I do, I do well, consistently zealously, daily - just like many other models. Everyday we log on, assume our characters, and do what we need to do to maintain our personal lifestyles. From those who cam to put food on the table, for school, or to fund their vices - it’s still work, we still need to get paid (fairly) and we all need to follow the rules.
Sure, this industry is cut-throat. I’ve witnessed some serious hostility on Twitter and other social networks between models. It is not my intention to degrade or scold any of my co-camgirls, but fuck. Follow the rules. If we band together, demand quality remuneration from our guests for the services we provide, we all win. In reading my tumblr timeline I saw a question that was asked to one of my fellow Cam girls. The person with the question said she was a thin Cam girl and didnt understand why fat Cam girls charge “more” for Cam shows.

I’ve been camming for three years and I don’t feel I charge more than any other established Cam girl. I’ve always charged 3.99/4.99 for private/exclusive shows. I didn’t prowl other BBW rooms trying to figure out a price either. That’s just what I feel I’m worth. Most customers are unaware that we only make 20-35% of our rates. The Cam site keeps the majority.
My pricing is based on my calculations, budget and income needs. I’ve never once thought I was charging more as opposed to anyone else for being in the BBW category.
I have however noticed that skinny Cam girls charge a lot less for gold shows. Example: $1 for 10+ minutes. That is something I will never do because the quality of the shows I perform is worth more than $1. In addition, being in the BBW category cuts down traffic by alot! I don’t have 60 ppl in my room who can pay $1 to reach a $60 goal.
I expect my gold shows to make more money than a private show & I price them according to my calculations.
So, even though that question was not asked to me, I did feel the need to make a post about it because I wonder how many models and customers question BBW Cam girl rates.
Plain and simple, this is a business and I treat it as such. My minute rates and gold show rates are based on the quality of my shows (which is solid 5 stars) and my hourly, daily, weekly and monthly income goals; nothing else :)
